CRUSH

In a previous post (link here), we already introduced you to this vibrant brand of minimalist handbags. They may seem simple at first glance, but once you step into their Universe, you can observe the values of cutting-edge craftsmanship for which Ubrique is renowned. After visiting CRUSH‘s space at “Bajo la Piel” event, we noticed a clear passion for the details, especially highlighting the selection of leathers. CRUSH develops its own leathers using top-quality Spanish hides, also tanned and finished in Spain under their supervision. They craft their own palette of friendly and highly wearable colors.

Another aspect that captivated us was their fresh, relaxed, and very current image in their communication. The thread that guides this new communicative line revolves around personal connections, human relationships, and, why not say it, Love. As John Paul Young would say, “Love is in the Air,” and the CRUSH team makes it their own in each of the processes of creation and manufacturing of their leather handbags.

LOHA

Upon visiting their space at “Bajo la Piel,” we entered a space where the artistic and conceptual intertwined. We saw pieces with shapes and volumes studied to accommodate more than just a functional item. We understood, in a way, that LOHA’s leather handbags were canvases where their Creative Director, Carlos Olmedo, captured his concerns about art and nature. It’s worth focusing on their “MUTIS” collection, where the first universal language to describe and classify Nature, developed by the illustrious José Celestino Mutis, is reinterpreted.

HEDEN

HEDEN’s proposal revolves around embodying concepts like femininity, sensuality, and magnetism in its current collection. Well-thought-out leathers and volumes for a woman who seeks to look and feel good. We greatly enjoyed the staff at HEDEN’s space as we could firsthand understand their way of interpreting the entire process of conceptualization, design, and manufacturing of their collections. Seeing and touching their pieces was a real pleasure.

BARADA

Entering the space of BARADA brand is much like entering our land, Ubrique. Cork oaks, nature, water, and mountains. This was the visual proposal of this local brand led by our neighbours Ana María Valle and José Manuel Naranjo. Behind this brand are many years of experience in the sector, which contributes to a higher percentage of success in their proposals for leather handbag styles. We could see and touch smooth leathers, grained leathers and prints of different nature. We could observe many different proposals of models within the same guiding thread… Ubrique and its surroundings.

BRIZA

BRIZA’s bet, through its Creative Director Antonia González, orbited around freshness and colour. According to Antonia González’s own words, “every time our customer sees one of our handbags, we want them to feel a breeze of fresh air.” The styles exhibited in their space within “Bajo la Piel” event conveyed cleanliness in their craftsmanship and beauty in their silhouettes. Like all the previous brands, Briza handbags are manufactured entirely in Ubrique by true leather craftsmen, guaranteeing their quality and durability.
