Regardless of the religious side of this Week, one may say that Spanish streets in general and Andalusian streets in particular become outdoor museums that show unique pieces of artwork made by Spanish artisans. Carpenters, Jewellers, Leather Workers, Embroiderers, Goldsmiths and quite a lot of other Guilds work together in order to create items of priceless artistic value.

Genuine exotic leathers, geometrical shapes, innovative construction and unconventional concept… These are the ideas that came to our minds when we found the designs below. We really enjoy the idea of not keeping the standard proportions for each type of design. Really smart… More info here

Passion and Courage are two words that could be associated to Spanish Luxury brand Loewe.  But Loewe has traditionally been known by the quality of its products and the meticulous manufacturing process. The video below tries to show this… Enjoy

Very often, I have the tendency to address any subject from a professional point of view, rather than a “neutral” one. Not long ago, I was walking across an industrial area in Seville and could not help taking the photos below. It was one of the buildings that belonged to the Universal Exposition in Seville in 1992. When I saw it, some type of brushed leather came to my mind. Really liked the ombre effect… It was very inspirational.

Logo embossing is the most frequent way of branding a leather item. The majority of pieces that are made by leather goods manufacturers in this area are personalised by using “Bind Embossing”.
