There are different ways of finishing the edges of a leather item. We want to show you the five most commonly used. All of them need a lot of dedication in order to get a proper finished edge.

    Hi Therese,

    In fact, there is not a real difference in how the edges are finished. It is only that, in general, veg tanned leathers absorbs more dye but once you apply heat the dye is sealed and you can apply as many coats as you wish. Hope this helps…
