We also want to share with you some photos that we recently took. The photos show some views and landscapes of this area in Andalusia (Spain). Enjoy…

We have a very special message for you …. it is on the video below
We have always been interested in designers who look for something different and want to experiment with materials. This time, we want to tell you about this “Duramen Series” since it is a new approach to the field of wood. We really enjoy projects like this because it brings together ideas and concepts such as creativity, craftsmanship and art. The wooden forms are carved, sanded and finished by hand by French design duo Rémy Clémente and Morgan Maccari of Bonsoir Paris
Today, we want to show you another example of a “handcrafted product”. This time it is not a bag or a piece of furniture but a car. British manufacturer of sports cars, Aston Martin has released the Aston Martin Cygnet. The video below explores the craftsmanship and details in the production process of this car from the paint to the details of the leather trims. The whole video emphasises the values of handwork. Enjoy!!
Creative people may feel frustrated about the time that they must wait until they see the first physical interpretation of what they have in mind. Getting a physical prototype with which you can easily work, write on and amend is highly appreciated by the creative team of a particular project. For some industries it might be difficult to find an inexpensive material with similar aspect and behaviour to the material that will be finally used for making the product. Prototype making saves time and money and favours the development of positive and productive experiences between designers and manufacturers.
Below, you can see some pictures of some prototypes made in our prototype and sample workshop.
London, 6th December 2011
It’s so cold for us in London today… we have come here for some meetings and to do some research. We are happy to find out that many of the best-recognised fashion brands and designers in the world have “Made in Spain” leather goods in their collections. It is also very pleasant to see that the shop windows are showing the products that we have been seeing in the workshops in Andalusia for the last couple of months… So proud about it
