Today, we start a new series of post. The “Leather Goods that we like” series deals with the leather items that, from our point of view, have something to say in terms of the item itself and the concept behind it. We will also try to give the point of view of a leather goods manufacturer.
For this first article, we have selected the Céline iPad case Box. This iPad Case gives a step beyond what we have seen so far. The accurate selection of the materials and a proper construction makes this item be one of the most gorgeous iPad Cases in the market (and also the most expensive… some $ 3,000). It also features the gold iconic branding of Céline, which gives the item a subtle touch of distinction.
Today, we want to review our articles that dealt with the historical aspects about the development of leather goods manufacturers in Andalusia (Spain). New articles about our historical background will come soon.

Just came across an article on the website of the award winning London based accessory brand, Chris&Tibor . The article proudly tells us about the experience they had during the days they spent in Andalusia (Spain) while having a look at the production of they leather goods.
Chris&Tibor is an award winning London based accessory brand, synonymous with fashion forward, creative, exclusive and luxurious. The brand is also known for its exciting designer collaborations with brands such as Juun.J , Walter Van Beirendonck , Veronique Branquinho and Romain Kremer.
Many fashion designers look at older times and leather goods collections from the past in order to create their own styles and collections. This pretty recurrent source of inspiration focuses not only on the functional part that old items hold but also on the intrinsic beauty of lifetime craftsmanship. Best selling traditional leather goods, like those you can see below, are being reinterpreted and adapted to present times.
Mad hectic Neon leather accessories may be a good example for this. Old functionality and the current trends are united.
We will soon post some new examples of this.
Why do leather goods have a high price? Have you ever wondered what is behind the whole process? We want to share with our followers a video that shows a real process of analysing the cost of a leather item. As you will see, patterns are crucial in this.

Today, we feel privileged. We had the opportunity of seeing the newest collections of some of the most recognised fashion houses in the world. We feel lucky to work in an area where the latest trends mixes with tradition and craftsmanship. Both realities coexist and feed on each other so that they are constantly learning something new. The leather industry in Andalusia is “alive and kicking”…
We recently got to know about the video below and decided to share it with our followers. The video is about the Museé International d’Horlogerie in Switzerland (International Museum of watchmaking). It’s not only that we are passionate about watches and watchmaking but also because such an ambitious project with Montblanc will serve to keep records of how watches were made in the past and protect the savoir-faire of Swiss watchmakers.
We already wrote an article about the Leather Goods Museum in Ubrique and published some pictures. You will soon learn more about this museum.
